The Conference

It is now day three of the conference and the students are working late into the night to get their working papers written and to pass resolutions. Mr. Cowe and myself are extremely pleased with all the hard work the students have been doing and their progress.

The Legal commitee

"The progress of the legal committee is well on its way. For an issue that is highly complex and controversial amongst smaller nations, delegates including myself have been working on Working Papers to ensure that everybody’s voice is heard. So far so good! Belize Rocks! Mom, I love you and happy birthday!"

The Spratly Islands debate

I’m glad that we are finally getting closer to the best resolution for the Spratly Islands since we’ve been discussing working paper 1:1 for a whole afternoon! However, now we are on 1.5.1 and we have had two speakers; China and Taiwan who have given their views on the topic and contributed a lot.

Camila

Countries as a whole are beginning to comprehend themselves clearer and are cooperating with enthusiasm to obtain a final, efficient resolution without ignoring any country and taking all points of views into consideration equally.

The knowledge of so many delegates in the topic is amazing which encourages everyone to speak and participate in all forms of discussion. Every delegate is important for world consensus.
